Jetzt hab ich schon wieder mal mehr als 5 Jahre lang nix gepostet hier... An Stoff wäre eigentlich kein Mangel, aber ich hab so garkeine Lust, alles aufzuschreiben, Aber die Zeit vergeht, so viele interessante Dinge geschehen im Leben, völlig undokumentiert... Daher jetzt mal ein neuer Versuch, diesen Blog zu re-aktivieren. Jetzt unter der Heading "Der ganz normale Wahnsinn". Zumeist auf Deutsch. Mal sehen, wie das wird und wie lange ich das durchhalte...

So I did install it at a window in the 3rd floor of the house. The camera works in principle well, and the Wifi gets a good connection even when the camera is not very close to the base station. But there are a few niggles which are quite annoying, and I did post this to the seller on eBay let them know about those, so that possibly some improvements can be made. 1. The provided connection protector for the Ethernet cable connection cannot be used without destroying the included connecting Ethernet cable, because the cover cannot be slid over the connector. While browsing through Amazon lately, I saw this weatherstation and bought it. Many years ago I did have a similar station, and I had written my own software for capturing its data and sending it off to WeatherUnderground, using some OpenSource code. This new station, however, has upload functionality already built-in - so I would only need to configure this device properly. Device Information A problem arises when trying to find out what the actual "official" name of this chinese-made weatherstation is. I bought it on Amazon as: Sainlogic Profi WLAN Wetterstation https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07TVMQ2CK But when going to the Sainlogic website, this device is nowhere to be seen... among the weatherstations shown here  http://sainlogic.com/plus/list.php?tid=4 there is none that corresponds to mine. The manual shows as manufacturer: Toway Sportswear Co. Limited in Shenzhen. The product name is just plainly Sainlogic Weather Station, and as Models several numbers are given: ...
